The following natural remedies are used by various Indian families and have proven their potency. However you will be trying at your own risk. These are not prescriptions, but rather a repository of natural remedies.

Comments and discussions here.

Tulsi juice and honey for cough

Pluck few tulsi leaves, wash it, and roll them together on your palm to gradually break them down. You can use a mortar and pestle set as well.

Squeeze them to get the juice out of it. Collect about 1 table spoon of it. Add another tablespoon of honey. That’s it. Stir and drink it.

Have this dose about 3 times a day until the cough is over.

Steam inhalation with Panikoorka for blocked/congested nose

Panikoorka scientifically known as Plectranthus barbatus is a plant often found in southern India. Pluck few leaves of it, add it to the inhaler and inhale the steam. Repeat about 3 times a day or whenever your blocked nose gives you trouble.

Results aren’t instantaneous, therefore do not give up.
